They are going with a 2 man bench right now.

Maybe hoping Rondon can pass waivers and go to Norfolk while also clearing a spot for Stewart? 

Blach is pitching depth and nothing more.

I think Rondón was just insurance for Villar. 

Kline is someone they can get to the stadium in time for the game tonight.

I’m afraid Moose is going to miss these moves once the season is over. Hope Elias has a bunch of waiver wire pickups and releases on a weekly basis to help him get through the winter.

Totally going to miss all the hand wringing about which sub-replacement level players have options remaining.  

@Legend_Of_Joey I would call Blach "depth."

Blach looks like a guy you can pair with opener. He started a bunch of games for the Giants in the past and was not terrible

Given the state of the rotation, not a bad pickup.

Well, last year his pitches had pretty good movement overall but everything looks down this year. In the grand scheme of trying different pieces, he's a "why not"?

We'll always have that pop up by Rondon.

Maybe they feel like they can help with getting his movement back.  Could be a nice pickup if they can.

Good pick up.  Innings eater.   Gives up a lot of hits but  can go 100 pitches/game.  Probably better than Brooks.   A left-hander.  A left-handed Eshelman.     Not in the long term picture but someone that might be around until the Bowie crowd arrives.   Has options this year and next year.   Has two years of service and will not get enough ML time to be a super two  this season so he will be cheap through next season.   Hasn't pitched since 7/20 so probably going to Norfolk to start on a 5 day schedule and  then be recalled.  JMO

Assets	Owns an excellent changeup, which complements his fastball well. Is both reliable and durable on the mound. Is a consistent performer who doesn't beat himself.
Flaws	Doesn't have a dominant fastball, and his breaking pitches are only average. Needs to cut down on his penchant for long balls in order to maximize output in MLB.
Career potential	Solid left-hander with a little upside.
