Looking at the Reliever leaders where Felix is doing Barry Bonds things to the league, I noticed fWAR considers Tanner Scott a top 10 MLB-wide guy YTD for the Marlins, whose year is going great too.

Manny Machado is finally waking up, hitting .313/.350/.594 in his last 31 games.  His OPS is still pedestrian at .765, but no longer embarrassing.

Funny you should mention Tanner Scott.   Been watching the Marlins and he looks lights out for them.  Under control finally.

He made $43 million in parts of 11 different seasons, so he shouldn’t be hurting. However, I think he’s one of those players that took out a loan early in his career and pays it back through a % of his salary so his actual take-home might be a lot less than that.

Jonathan Schoop was just released by the Tigers. He’s “only” 31, but a .559 OPS since the start of last year. I hope he catches on with another MLB team… just not us.
