2023 Infield

This is the year many think we should be really competitive. Who do you see occupying the four infield spots that year?

Hopefully Gunnar Henderson is in the mix.  They seem to be high on Jordan Westburg but I don't totally see it.

I think it is no worse than 50/50 that one of Jones, Westburg, Hall, Vavra and Servideo occupy one of the other non-first base spots.

Great topic, but too soon to tell. We’re going to have to see who we trade for, and who we draft. We’ve got a lot of pitching now, and a lot of 17-18-year-old guys who speak Spanish, maybe we can focus on the infield?

Drafting now will not fill the infield in 2023. We may be spending money on some FA

If nothing else, this thread is praiseworthy in that it presumes that we're all necessarily going to be alive and well in 2023. )

I'm a big Adam Hall fan.  If he and Henderson can lock down two positions, I'll be thrilled.

Our biggest organizational weakness. We really are missing a top SS prospect. Maybe the draft this year?  Maybe we get one for Means, Santander, or Scott?

Heard there is  a good one in the 2020 draft.

He wasn’t a SS.  I won’t be surprised if he never plays a major league game there.   

In any event, I’m far from saying we don’t have any major league prospects at SS.   Henderson, Hall, Westburg, Hernaiz, and a couple of Dominican guys.    Not all those will pan out but I’m not about to say that none of them will.
