I think he was safe, but was there ever any doubt the call would be out?

I thought it was okay to block the plate if you had the ball?  I'm not sure the pitcher didn't receive the ball before he blocked the plate, but it shouldn't matter because the foot was in before the tag.

Santander incapable of getting around on fastball up in the zone. Plus Galvis shouldn’t have ran on that play (despite terrible call). Ball barely got beyond the catcher.
