Take a look at the stance of Martin on the HR. He ditched the awkward leaning thing he was doing for a more normal crouch with the bat in a familiar position to start. Looks much more comfortable. 
 

Ill-advised flip to 2B on the DP, though. Too far away from the bag to try that, but Bannon saved him with a nice turn.

I'd say the slow and lazy base runner helped too.
