There could. I like Hays overall as a player,  but he can't stay healthy and then he spent must of this season being dominated by right-handers. He could still put it together and if I'm the Orioles I'd still give him next year to see if he does, but I don't think he's going to end up the player we thought he would be.

I agree.  It's a shame, you can see the flashes every so often to give you something to dream on.

I think next year is make or break for him.  There's going to be some talent in the minors pushing soon.

Tampa isn't the smallest market.  They just have a Jerk of an owner, a crappy stadium and an indifferent fanbase.

Tampa-St Pete is the #13 Market in the country.

Oh, wow! Didn't the Rays owner wanna play games in Montreal?

He wants to move the team.

Or have a pretty new stadium built for him.

He knew what the stadium situation was when he bought the team.

Yeah, I actually read that in an article. I also don't understand why nobody goes to their games. They have an incredible team, but I think FL is a struggle for any team because no one is from there. I think Nashville would be a good place to move the team. Or maybe SC, NC, New Orleans, etc

  1. The stadium is a dump
  2. It's in a bad area from a traffic perspective
  3. The population isn't very centralized
  4. Large percentage of population aren't native to the area
  5. Lots of other entertainment choices

This board suck balls if you want yo multi-quoute! It used to be so easy and now it's impossible! I'm not that drunk.  Use your little psycho devices on someone else!

Scott what’s wrong? If there’s a hitch in the site, remember Weams is in charge of that.

I guess I don’t even know what multi-quoting is and I’ve never done it I think, but if there’s a problem talk to Tony and see if he can fix it?

Yeah, all of that is true. The owner will definitely want a new stadium if they win the World Series, right? I imagine he would.

Apparently the Rays bullpen is actually human.  They aren't an army of indistinguishable 95 throwing cyborgs.

No, that would be the KC buzzsaw everyone ran into in 2014--the one that ended games after the sixth inning.
