Good 'ol Andino. He will always be a cult hero like Tito Landrum for that one base hit!

Top 10 Orioles who are now just remembered as an Oriole for basically just ONE thing:

1) Robert Andino

2) Tito Landrum

3) Delmon Young

4) Ryan Minor

5) Brad Pennington

6) Jamie Quirk

7) Steve Bechler  ?

8 ) Tom Gastall

9) Tony Tarasco

10) Jack Cust

Not a popular guy because of his being an idiot off the field.

But 2014, Young had a pretty good year for the Orioles.

The only thing I remember Brad Pennington for is having a name that rhymes with Chad Pennington.

I honestly have no idea who Tom Gastall is or what the one thing is he’s known for.

A young catcher who signed iwth the Orioles in the late 50s as a "Bonus Baby" (if you got a signing bonus > $X, you HAD to go immediately to the big leagues, not the minors).   Played sparingly for the Orioles, and then died when he was piloting a small plane in the offseason and went down in the Chesapeake Bay.

My memory seams to recall that Brad threw very hard, 100+ MPH, but with no movement on his fast ball, it would get knocked out of the park pretty regularly.

Yep, including a shot by Ken Griffey that blew a lead, landed on Eutaw Street, and hit the warehouse on the bounce (a year after KGJr had hit the warehouse on the fly during the Home Run Derby).

It even made it into a (Nike?) commercial, the Griffey HR, and in the commercial you could see Pennington whipping his head around to watch it fly.
