He's a minor league player who was on minor league rehab.

If he said that , very tough to do in the minors Off on Monday and usually have a day game sometime during the week .  Plus usually an earlier Sunday game  Most catchers don't catch a day game after a night game. I guess if the schedule lines up Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Looks like he has transitioned to 1B/DH. Perhaps his arm/shoulder will not hold up to the rigors of being an everyday  catcher
