In 1972 the Orioles played 28 games in June and allowed 68 runs.  That same year the Rangers scored 57 runs in 29 September/October games, and had a .473 team OPS over that period.

With Ted Williams managing the team. His last year as manager. They went 54-100 so its not too shocking they had a bad offense.
