Kinda lost in this is Fry getting optioned. I'm assuming it's very temporary since he's been pitching well lately and they needed both a fresh arm and a bat. I don't expect Reyes to be here very long.

Based on how things have gone for the O's lately, an injury is a decent possibility.

If they like Bannon, they could option Nevin to have another outfield option. They had Nevin playing LF today which... if Bannon is gonna play 3B for awhile, Diaz is the guy you want spelling the outfielders, not Nevin. 

I don't think they'll do this just to do this, but it's one way to get Diaz up here.

Isn’t Mountcastle already hurt?  So that opens up an OF spot. I’d rather have Diaz or McKenna playing out there than Nevin.  Bannon seems like he at least brings some spunk to the team. He’s hungry.

I don’t think they bring him up in less he can get full time ABs.

Nice game by the young man.  Love the snag in his first inning.  I think it was Eddie who said its great to be young and and Oriole.  Hopefully all of these guys have us saying the same soon.
