Friday May 27: Orioles begin 5 game series in Boston, tonight exclusively on AppleTV

No, Melanie, do *not* come back next inning to "what's been going on with the Orioles pitching." Just call the game. Crucial two-outs at-bat in the bottom of the 8th with two runners on base and the pop-up barely squeezed into her cogitation on what a "tough game" the Oriole pitchers are having because of all the hit batters. I mean Story just got hit directly on the helmet and she's talking about how tough it was for the pitchers?

You can tell he is not having a good time tonight.

I just think he's a bad announcer as well. If Apple is trying to get people to watch this stuff, they are doing a HORRENDOUS job of it. Could you imagine if Apple TV took over for MLB TV!?

The whole team is a tough listen.  Hangar Keyser suggesting that players should sue Yankees because they do  not allow beards?  Cliff Floyd is okay in the studio, but has no business doing color on a telecast.  Plus, Apple has too many distractions going on, like interviewing Cedric Mullins mid-inning while he’s in center field.

She’s one of the four panelist types on that new afternoon show on MLB Network, Off Base. Hannah Keyser is her name. Don’t know much about her otherwise.

I can help with some more info. She's got a lisp and pink hair. I don't know much about her baseball knowledge unfortunately.

Boston fans are by far the worst.  Not even close.  Yankees have 27 WS wins.  They can be be cocky if they want, they earned it.  Boston wishes they were the Yankees, are not the Yankees, and act as if they were the Yankees.  It’s obnoxious, sad, embarrassing,  and infuriating all at the same time.  Add in the history of racism that runs through the organization and you get the worst fans in the history of all sports.

Its how Santander learned to take a walk.  Basically has a medicine ball behind him during batting practice on a small stool.  If he takes a pitch and it misses the medicine ball he knows he made the right decision.  I guess it's helped him to learn the strike zone better.    Appears to be working since Santander already has 23 walks through may which ties his season high career best.

Sounds like the arrangement we had in wiffle ball: if a pitch hit a board propped up on a chair behind the plate, it's a called strike.
