I agree with this, if I was an O's MiLB pitcher and Matt Blood texted me and said "Hey, we want you to represent the Orioles in the AFL!!" I'd be sad about my status in the organizational rankings of pitchers. But who knows, maybe they have a new direction, but the last several years the pitching crop has been middling at best (And the Orioles are certainly not he only organization to follow such direction with pitching assignments).

In the last few seasons, they have sent: Nick Vespi, Alex Wells, Dean Kremer, Keegan Akin, and Tanner Scott.
