If this is the beginning of the end for the O's playoff chances, I'm just happy with the effort this team has put forth and the development of the young players.  It's been good to watch baseball that matters for a change.  I'm also glad that Elias didn’t trade away part of the future for a fractional increase in the chance of getting to the playoffs.

From 110 losses to contention into September in a year? I’d say that’s pretty good progress.

That was a really bad turn at bat. I’m not sure what the issue is. Mullins third time seeing the guy and swings at the first pitch. Even Adley with a weak at bat there. And then Chineros… I mean what is there to say? 
 

If we loose this and another game in the series it may be over in terms of being able to realistically chase a wildcard. At that point, hopefully can put an end to the stop gaps and just let the young guys play out the season and get some experience in prep for next year.
