Raw skill is not an issue. Plate discipline and making contact will tell the story. His glove obviously as well.

Depends on who that TOR arm is, how much is left on the deal, etc.  I don't think anyone is asking for Mateo as a headliner, that's for sure.  It'd depend on who all else is included, too.

Anyway, only Henderson and Rutschman are the untouchable guys on this current roster.  I could see Mateo being moved.

As far as Ortiz goes, whatever.  I don't think he should just be handed the position, he'd have to earn it in a battle between Westburg and Urias.  I mean, even put Gunnar at SS, Urias at 3rd.
