Because you are already in scoring position.  With 2 down you need a hit anyway unless there is an error, infield hit or WP.

Now that you mention it, thousands of references to Boog, Brooks, Cal, Eddie, etc, Frank is very seldom mentioned.

Palmer gives a shout out to practically everyone he ever played with. Blair, Rettenmund, Etchebarren, Crowley. He lifts them all up as treasured teammates.
