Obviously, neither the Rays nor the Jays had much left after having had to work so hard to finish ahead of the Orioles.

Is it better to miss the playoffs by a few games, or to make them and get your heart ripped out right away?

I’d still say the latter is better, but they both have downsides.

I’d rather have our season and miss the playoffs by three games instead of getting our hearts ripped out like the Jays did yesterday. 

Couldn’t have happened to a better franchise though. I hope it was as miserable for them and their fans as it looked.

I will admit to being petty and enjoying the Blue Jays’ 15 minute stay in the postseason. The only thing that would make it better is the Orioles being the team to eliminate the Jays after what happened in 2016.

The extra playoff revenue is nice.
