I don’t usually look that much into a lineup everyday for this reason because like today there was injury we didn’t know about.  Although these guys are great athletes and everything but they can easily get small injury, tweak a muscle or just not wake up feeling well.  If I wake up sore no biggie as I am just sitting at a desk not trying to play a game at the highest level.  I  wouldn’t think a sore back, tight hamstring, bruise or illness is something you want to have playing a game.  A lot of times those so called days off are for reasons and many times we never know.

Heck of a game from the bottom of the lineup. McKenna showed a lot of grit getting that big hit early. Mateo hitting scuds. There really isn’t a weak spot in our lineup when we go to the bench except Benboom.

I wonder if Santander gets a day off today as he has played in every game so far and day game after a night game. Do we see Vavra and/or Stowers?

This is some evidence that it's not just Stowers' defense that Hyde/Elias doesn't care for. 

It's his bat too.

I don't get it.  Did Stowers kick Hyde's dog or something?   I would much rather see him in the outfield than Santander (or at DH over Vavra).

Silly.  Santander is what we hope Stowers can become.  The idea he should be taking ABs from his, again, silly.
