Only real consolation is that teams like the Rays and Jays are right there with us... and we face both a lot. The O's will get every chance to stake their claim. Let's just enjoy the ride.

The 8 games vs Tampa, 7 vs Toronto and 6 vs Houston appear to be the most important ones left.

Noticed in Boston's schedule there's 7 games there as well.

We will go all out for those TB games.  That's an all hands on deck situation.  If we face a LH SP, don't be surprised if we bring up Mayo.

It’s worth noting that, having run through a gauntlet of pretty tough teams since this thread was started on July 10, the O’s now have only the 17th most difficult schedule remaining, with our upcoming opponents averaging a .497 winning percentage, down from .511 as of the OP.  https://www.tankathon.com/mlb/remaining_schedule_strength

We’re still in the midst of a pretty tough stretch right now, though.

So @Frobby, that would imply a steady taper downward in the degree of opponent difficulty as the rest of the season plays out? Or am I reading this incorrectly?

Easiest schedule remaining in the division as well.

The other AL East teams have a tougher SOS than the Orioles because they have to play the Orioles. What a satisfying situation!
