What happens if for some reason a team switches to a lefty early in the game, say the 4th inning? Do we have to pinch hit for O’Hearn that early, only to see them go back to RHP later?

I don't think you PH for O'Hearn that early no. I doubt Hyde would either. Late in games when you're trying to add on a run or two, you almost have to.
