Hard to tell who is a more anemic hitter...McCann or Matteo...and BOTH are playing today...boy is McCann awful...

McCann being this bad of a hitter is one of the more unpleasant surprises of the season. Didn’t think he’d do a ton but he’s been pretty awful.

That changeup is back to being nasty again.  Glad we’ve at least worked him a bit since they’re saying he won’t go past 85 pitches.

Gunnar the only one who actually worked the count. McCann and Mateo will be automatic outs every time they come up. Hopefully the top of the order can grind out some more ABs and get McClanahan out by the 5th or 6th.

Pitch count at 39 thru 2 innings.  I think Kevin Brown mentioned he had a pitch count limit at 80/85?

Let's see if we can continue to work that up.

That may have been the 1st time I've seen Grayson throw a curve ball.
