this is exactly where I am too.  This team has great chemistry and it is/was soooo underestimated.  It goes a long way in building a winner.  But it still takes talent, which we have a ton of... I'd like a little more in the SP/RP dept going into the race w/o taking pieces that will fit into the chemistry AND talent in the coming couple of years.  No reason to give too much away to get somebody like Montgomery who's a quality talent rental and maybe a guy you pay to stay... from the OP.

As I said earlier Hicks always gets injured so you have to have another plan.   Grichuk and Suter make perfect sense to me.  Lefty reliever and a power bat that can play all 3 outfield positions.

I've seen people talk about players we'd need to give up.  I think they want multiple top 10's from us.

Oh I don’t disagree at all.

But as he wants to load up enough to be square, or very close to it, with the Braves and Dodgers… I wanted to see what his proposed road map is.

I'm not watching today, just following on Gameday.  On the highlight Cowser looked a bit slow out of the box, any chance he could have got a triple if he had gotten a clean break out of the box and pushed it?

Not being critical, I'm curious what you all think.

If your question is what moves I am advocating for it would be a meaningful upgrade to the rotation Eduardo Rodriguez/Snell type would do and a bullpen upgrade. IMO we need a lock down guy for the 7th. I do not have much confidence in any of our current guys.
