Maybe that's an indication of what asking prices were......from what I see, we kept all of the higher ranked guys in our system.  That's a win....especially after a pitcher heavy draft this year.

This sucks. And no bullpen help. I was OK with Prieto, but I would have rather have done nothing with Rom and Showalter now gone.

We give up our midseason 16 and 18 prospects and people freak out, OVERPAY! I find it hilarious that despite all of the belly-aching about this trade, these same people are showing that they know nothing about how good our system really is.

Who's got a source for Showalter being part of the deal? Not on ESPN or MLBTR. MLBTR said the deal was done after Prieto and Rom.
