Then he could miss a bat or get Bregman to go fishing. Didn’t make bad pitches, Bregman was just tough.

Didnt really throw  competitive pitch to Alvarez except the one inside pitch that was borderline.

Wasnt really an awful inNing and the one missed call really hurt. He has to be better about missing bats in big moments against the better hitters. With his stuff, that shouldn’t be an issue.

He simply needs better fastball command and a breaking pitch he can throw consistently enough to keep people off the fastball. He's close, but not there yet.

He's playing almost straight up the middle against RH (as most 2B do now) because the shift ban limits where he can play.

Sample size is low so far but he has been above average according to Statcast.
