Mateo is doing the right things in Centerfield. He knows how to play the position. I liked how he set up to throw to stop a tag up when he caught that fly ball.

There were questions about whether he could stick at any infield position coming up, but I really haven't seen anything statistically or based on the eye test to show he can't handle second. 3B/SS would be another story, but I think that's a non-issue.
