San Diego (A)
Oakland (A)
Toronto (H)
Colorado (H)
ChiSox (H)
Arizona (A)
LAAngels (A)
Boston (A)
StLouis (A)

Each a 3-game series, 27 games. There's no reason they can't go 17-10 or 18-9, at least, against this schedule.

Just take at least one this weekend, and they will be fine.

Boy Gibson has been such an upgrade over Jordan Lyles.

Just leave Gibson in to take his lumps tonight because we have a 6 man rotation and 1 less bullpen arm. Better to live to fight another day.

This is straight batting practice from Gibson. He's only at 73 pitches and with this game out of reach, I'm inclined to keep him in the game.

Strategy now to win the series even though we probably lose this game:

1.Make good pitch eating At Bats and get into their bullpen.

2.Let Gibson eat more innings and preserve our bullpen.

3.Actively scout / use this game as live practice against their players. A rehearsal for Game 2, so to speak.
