It looks like their starting pitching has been stupendous. Can Seth Lugo, Brady Singer, Alec Marsh, Cole Ragans, and Michael Wacha do this for a whole season? Just like most any other team it could go either way. -
You know who’s a WS contender? Any team that makes the playoffs and plays well in the playoffs, regardless of whether they won 100 games or 85 during the season. We’ve seen the truth of that dozens of times over the years. -
I noticed on Thursday he was not squaring up some balls that he would have mashed earlier this year. Everyone hits a cold spell eventually. Guess it’s his turn. On the other hand, Mounty looks like he’s snapping out of a 3+ week cold spell.

I mean, they got THE Adam Frazier, what did you expect? -
I feel like if he can grab an interesting college arm that can be at AA/AAA by next season, it would be a big boost to the milb pitching depth that we need to build at the top of the system

Scary. I’ve watched the play a few times. No slow motion available. He’s covering 1B and the throw from the 1B is behind him and weak and bounces. He turns completely towards hp trying to gather the bounce. he’s pretty much right on 1B. The runner just a few feet from the bag, senses a collision, starts to pull up, puts both hands up seemingly to grab Chace. It looks to be like maybe his left hand/palm caught Chace in the jaw. Chace’s head moves to the left like a whiplash and he goes down. The collision didn’t look that hard but it must have been, the way his head moved, like a boxer getting caught flush. The scary thing is, any boxer or fighter I’ve ever seen knocked out is usually is not out cold or if they are usually coming to within a couple of minutes. I don’t pray much but I do pray that Chace is ok.
