Right-handed pitcher Daniel Cabrera is back with the team after his wife gave birth to his second child, a son named Daniel, on Tuesday.

After the bullpen session, Cabrera worked on his bunting. Now that he is in the National League, he'll be required to bat quite a bit more often.

Not known for his prowess at the plate, he is 0-14 with 14 strike outs in his career, Cabrera stayed an extra 10 minutes and worked with Triple-A manager Tim Foli and St. Claire on the art of executing a successful bunt.

The first handful of attempts didn't go so well, but he gradually figured out the technique and was able to look like he knew what he was doing.

I really hope his first child is also named Daniel.

If it's a girl, hope it's Danielle.
