Actually, if you think about it, as long as there is a right handed pitcher with this lineup, once Westburg bats, there will always be 8 lefties in a row after that.

But not if they bring in lefty and Rutchman and Santander switch sides. That being said, their only lefty relief options are Jose Suarez, who has thrown 53 pitches between yesterday and Saturday and also isn’t very good, and Matt Moore, who is a bona fide reverse splits guy.  

Still, I think Westburg bats 6th so he isn’t back-to-back with Tony. Cowser or Mullins would bat 5th, with the other batting 7th.

Based on production and results in a small sample size this year and ignoring veteran status I would change the standard lineup a good bit for today:

Adley - C

Gunnar - SS

Cowser - LF

Westburg - 3B

O'Hearn - 1B

Mullins - CF

Santander - DH

Kjerstad - RF

Holliday - 2B

I am also assuming Montcastle will sit again tonight.

Is Mountcastle most likely resting again?  If Tony is playing, I'd hope with this lineup Hyde starts moving him down.  O'Hearn, Westburg, and Cowser are better hitters for the 3/4/5 spots.

If Mountcastle is available - O'Hearn / Kjerstad should be RF/DH.  Sit Tony.

Nice HR McCann breaking the ice against Detmers.

From the elite draftee angle, tonight's presumed Adley, Kjerstad, Cowser and Holliday lineup is a bit of a milestone for the organization.    Griffin Canning gets to be the first RH SP to work through it...Yankees look like they will have Clarke Schmidt and Luis Gil next week.

yea McCann has been hot but eventually I would hope to see a better lineup vs lefties. I don't think they will DH Adley all year against them and have Cowser and Mullins play and use a different DH

Man. That is one helluva lineup, plus the bonus of Grayson pitching.  I’ve been along for the entire ride but still can’t believe the destination. What a joy to watch this team.
