I have to think he's nursing something or feeling under the weather because otherwise Mounty is not sitting against any lefty with an off day right around the corner.

I think something is up with Mountcastle.   Urias was probably going to play vs the lefty anyway.   Mateo is probably the guy benefiting from Mounty being out.

Well, not starting Holliday vs a tough lefty is certainly justified.

Feels to me like Mateo is there because Mountcastle is out for reasons unknown, and Urias is covering 1B.
