That's a tough one.  I know someone's going to look up the stats.

Off the top of my head, no.  I think we were all so amazed at what he was doing at third base that we thought he was going to be amazing at SS.  And while he was very good, I remember us being slightly disappointed in his defense.

I think Gunnar is probably better, but that's also probably some recency bias.

Tough to say. Most ppl in here will quickly say yes, but We never really saw Manny at short. Which is much harder than 3rd. Manny was awesome at 3rd

I don’t think Manny had the range and foots speed of Gunnar. He did have some of the best instincts and reaction time.
