The Orioles didn't have a pitching problem today.  Grayson looked great throughout although he wilted a bit at the end.  Webb was solid in relief, Kimbrel has looked great as of late.

The offense was steady with a homers from Tony and Kjerstad in the beginning of the game to set the tone and then, much to the dismay of the people who like to cry that the Orioles get a lead and don't score for the rest of the game, Gunnar tacked one on late.

The Orioles did what a good team does, which is to take advantage of errors made by the other team.  

So you can dismiss it as "one good game"...but it's very telling as to the type of character this team has and how they responded after getting annihilated yesterday.

I don't think it's that telling, we've seen this team bounce back plenty of times.

Every team has bad games during a 162 game schedule.  The panic on this board never ceases to amaze me.  We are 2 games ahead of last year's pace. Povich ain't touching the mound in the playoffs. 

We just need a couple of middle relievers.  That shouldn't cost us any of our "big 3" down on the farm. Trust in Elias and the process.  No team in MLB history ever improved like we did from 2021 to 2023. NO ONE.

Duh. We are a good team. The beauty of baseball is that you get spring and summer to see that play out. Then you get autumn to see how that doesn’t necessarily matter.
