This is the kind of mix where if you are wondering if Elias will trade 8 bats for 3-4 pitchers, or 4 bats for 1-2 pitchers he will at least have plenty of fill-ins if he goes more volume.

I've been wondering if we might see more hitting prospect for pitching prospect trades. 

But I think the more likely thing is that we start to see a nearly annual (sometimes more than annual) minor league bat for MLB rotation piece trade. Ranging from Irvinish to Burnesish depending on need and who's on the block.

Had a lot of hits late, rounds 4, 8 and 14 have had pretty nice careers.

Just looked it up. Too bad we didn't hold onto Mike Yaz. If it works out like that draft, then great!

His numbers at Tulane don't pop out.  He's a big guy with a little pop- 12 HR.  But 64 K's.  My guess is they like his defense but it doesn't look like he'll hit enough?   Maybe they're hoping for a backup Catcher down the road....

Apparently so - Sisco, Jonah Heim, Alex Murphy (never heard of him), and Austin Wynns.
