I can't say it's improved over the years, ie. way more show-biz (the way wedding receptions did in the 80s), but I can say confidently that I don't miss Berman's "back, back, back".

I don't actually need noise cancelling for the computer.  I've got it on my Sennheiser momentum 3's and never use it.

I have a set I use for recording at home, ie. Sennheiser, but for noise cancellation, I have an AirPod Max over the ear set or noise cancellation situations.
