Shouldn’t have given him a pitch at all. Why would you ever give their only star a chance to beat you? Fear of Pasquantino, a hitter who is (at best) O’Hearn equivalent? Witt is hitting over .330, with the 2nd highest xBA in the league. It was a no-brainer IBB, it should have been done by the time Mountcastle touched 1B with the 2nd out.
