I'd agree with that....Miller is a pro. Great voice too

His two friends in the booth can get on my nerves sometimes, but maybe i just read too much of firejoemorgan.com and now firestevephillips.com :laughlol:

Steve Phillips spouts some of the most off-the-wall, convoluted BS anywhere. I'm in awe that he was ever a GM.

I get goosebumps on occasion listening to Jon Miller. I close my eyes at times and feel like I'm there because he's so masterful at setting up the most tense, important situation and conveying the urgency, immediacy, tension, and atmosphere of it all. He's masterful, through and through.

One of my favorite calls of his: one run scores; two runs score; aaand they allll score! :laughlol:

OK JJ looks sharp, you really want him to pitch the 9th, but you know Sherrill will unless we score 3 runs in the top. So if we bring JJ out again is he as effective tomorrow. Or should we save him for tomorrow and go with George?

I think putting Georgey in here is the right move. He's the closer and has performed well as of late, and i'm expecting another close game vs. Bedard tomorrow. So it's best to have them both fairly fresh tomorrow.

I'd go with Sherrill.

I don't really think there is a wrong choice here though.

Rich Hill to Jim Johnson is a huge change for the hitters. There's three RHP due up. Johnson basically threw no pitches.

Not saying that putting in Sherill is the incorrect move, but I'd rather keep the righty in.
