According to Baseball Prospectus' Will Carroll and now the NBC's Hardball Talk (link), MLB is close to announcing a PED suspension for a "semi-big" name.

Lord, please don't be an Oriole. I can't imagine what will happen to the Hangout if it is!

If its an Oriole, any Oriole other than Matusz, it will finally be the proof that shows that PED's do NOTHING to help a man hit a baseball! :laughlol:

I'm praying it's not Markakis, Jones or Wieters... Any other Oriole I could live with.

The first one that comes to mind is Carlos Zambrano for some reason...

Though it could also be Roy Oswalt...

I will also say Chris Carpenter healed up pretty quickly as well...

Those would be my three suspects...

It's a pitcher from a NL Central team.

The first name that I thought of was Chris Carpenter or Brad Penny. Carp because he came back so quickly form an injury and Penny because of the way he is has started... and he sortof looks like a guy who would use them.
