Right, he can run, but that shouldn't affect Nick's throw, particularly when it is shallow right field and he is coming in toward the plate while he is making the catch. He's looked pretty crappy on numerous occasions this season (in regard to his throwing arm).

With a 4-1 lead, I think hitting the cutoff man there is the proper play. No reason to let Cabrera get to 2nd base.
