That's the sad thing. The Yankees who sign whoever they want and have no problem trading guys from their minor leagues have better trade chips than us who have had a top 10 draft pick since the Black Sox scandal.

Montero doesn't project as a catcher with his defense, and I can't see them keeping him at DH. I wouldn't be shocked for them to plan on trying him out at 1B.

Pineda struggled down the stretch going 1-4 with a 5.12 ERA in 10 starts. He also benefitted from the spacious Safeco Field, with a 2.92 ERA in 12 starts at home and a 4.40 ERA in 16 games on the road.
