Bilbo seems like a decent guy, the interrogation is over the top. Clearly he's circumvented the rules a bit by starting a new username thus stalling the 500 post threshold, but hopefully he'll put his money where his mouth is and then everyone can chill out.

With that said, Bilbo, you're totally bringing this upon yourself by not just saying what your old name was. You bent the rules some, but I doubt it will be a big deal if you get a plus membership.
