Provided jones isn't seriously hurt, we may lose these battles but we might end up winning the war.

You don't LIKE seeing guys get hurt, but you also don't mind it at all after seeing your guy get plunked in the hand an inning earlier.

Guess we will see what the injury report says.

Just for perspective. Texas lost to Seattle yesterday 10-3... and today they are getting pasted 9-0 by the same Mariners team. Good teams go thru rough times... This is a brutal stretch, but I think any other team in the league would switch places with us in a heartbeat. We are still in first, win or lose. We were so good the first month and a half, that we have given ourself this space to stumble as our pitchers face growing pains and we get hit with injuries and slumps all at the same time. Whether we rebound and go back to playing winning baseball consistently remains to be seen, but this isn't the end of the Orioles.

Never as good as your best game, and never as bad as your worst. Not much else could go wrong for us lately... it will pass...

This is the same old, same old Orioles baseball...it seems our winning record was a temporary aberration...our losing streak will be at 5 after tonight and it is hard to see them winning a single game on this trip playing now as awful as they are in every single phase of the game...
