How much fun has this season been?

Real?! That was as unreal as any baseball game I've ever seen. That's when it dawned on me that this season has nothing to do with reality. It's the manifestation of some kind of wonderful, bizarre dream.

It has been great. It felt a little bit like 1989, and now it's beginning to feel a lot like 1996.

The way we've won these games, with "guess who" starting pitching, a spare parts lineup, while outperforming expectations, this season has been so much fun. I might be a Ravens fan too but the Orioles have always been number 1 to me, and as a young guy who's never fully experienced a winning season, this is really special.

Couldn't agree more Miller...I can remember how watching the O's games in 1996 and 1997 (I was a junior/senior in HS and just beginning some of the best baseball years in my own playing career) was so exciting every night, and now some of that feeling is back...and it's GREAT!

I do miss living in Baltimore more this summer than any other summer since I moved away in 2002, but having MLB.TV has really helped with that...I have subscribed to it every season since it came about, but this is the first time I have needed it regularly in August...living in Columbus, Ohio makes this time of year mostly about Ohio State football...but I have allowed that to be put off a little since the Orioles games matter every night now...

I may even go over to my mom's house and watch a few games here and there pretty soon...because she and I watched every night back in '96/97...it was so much fun!!!

Same here. The night games start at 4pm for me, so I'm watching/listening at work, listening to the game on my phone on the way home, and basically running into the house every day to get the game on. My girlfriend has mixed feelings, I think. Where as last summer I was miserable when it came to the O's, this year I'm obviously way happier, just far more intense.

It has just been crazy. Got to go to two games earlier this year against the Red Sox and it was a lot of fun. This was right when things were starting to look nice, though skepticism was still running high as it was late May. I had NO expectations going into the season. NONE. Now... I still doubt we make the playoffs, but I don't feel like an idiot anymore trying to justify why we can make it.
