The Jays are now 3-8 in their last 11 games. This would seem to be their regression to the mean. They are a better team than their 12-15 start would indicate. They aren't as good as their huge run last month indicated. They're going to end up about .500. Just like the Os, just like the Yankees, and just like the Red Sox.

I'm convinced at this point that the AL East winner will have about 85-87 wins while 4th place will have 80-82 wins. It's going to be a REAL close race to a touch above mediocrity.

Up 6-3 over Verlander gonna be 37-24. Last 2 weeks 6-0 vs A's and Tigers. That O is just sick right now.
It will change soon enough. Besides, that team would not win one post season game if they played one.

I guess the worm turned. Like it does for them every year.

Bautista and Lawrie left yesterday's game with injuries.

So yeah, the Blue Jays are coming back down to Earth.

Still waiting for the MRI results on Bautista. If he's got anything significant, then there's your yearly Bautista injury. And that has really hurt the team these past few seasons. Lawrie I think can be replaced by Francisco for a while but he is certainly a drop in defense at 3B.

Today, the Jays didn't miss either one as they spanked the Yankees. Which I have no problem with.

The Angels just tied it on a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 4th inning.

Stroman gave up 6 runs in only 3.67 innings pitched.
