Chris Davis should be getting more criticism

With the way Pearce and Cruz are playing and no DH in Washington, I don't see how Davis starts again before Wednesday at home.

I don't know. Davis has pretty good career success against Fister. 3/10 with 2 HR, although 5 Ks as well.

Oblique injury, pitchers adjusting, slow start, new child and the other issues that people have mentioned in this thread have all contributed to the perfect storm resulting in the drastic drop off in production we have seen.

Last season however I believe the opposite effect was in play and we saw production from him that was better than we should expect

I still think things will improve this season for him but even if they do not I do believe that he will bounce back nicely next year to a very good season that is somewhere between the two.
