Yes, I heard this sentiment on the board all the way to the end of September last year..that any one game means nothing, too early, blah, blah, blah. And then, "oh, the season's over, I guess some of those games were meaningful."

we won't score again. Im very disappointed that we couldn't win this series. We had every chance to do just that. Thats why I believe we are basically a .500 team. Win one, lose one..etc.

Yep, that's what they have been since the start of the season. The only hope of playoffs is that somehow they turn on the switch sometime in the next two months.

To be fair, there were a couple of earlier games that he pretty much won for us, and he's been worth over a WAR so far in only 30ish games, so there's that.
