Why is it that Palmer can point out that Manny's extreme open stance is not allowing him to get to the pitch on the outside on the plate but Manny keeps doing it?   They showed the comparison to last year's stance and it was noticeably more open.

Because you have a bunch of coaches that are afraid to tell the star player what he's doing wrong.

Is it? Something's not right. Manny has seemed to have totally lost it over the course of a year. This isn't just a slump. His mechanics must be shot to go from an early season MVP candidate of last year to what we're seeing now.

Manny better not plan pulling this crap in New York, Boston, etc.  The press there will light him up.  Unless Manny is hiding an injury there is no reason for him to be this bad.  We're not talking about Trumbo or Mark Reynolds, Manny needs to be held accountable. 

If the Orioles coaches aren't up to the challenge there needs to be a shake up.

Here is where Showalter is lacking again. There's no way Machado should be hitting third right now. He is pressing. Shifting him down in the lineup would allow him to relax a little. But Showalter won't do it. Remember when Jones was in a season-long slump one year and he refused to take him out of the cleanup spot?

Many should never be batting third. He should be batting second.

Well, I can see why he was put in the 3rd slot. He was supposed to be our best hitter and doesn't your best hitter usually bat 3rd?

No your best two hitters bat second and 4th. Manny seemed to be more disciplined batting second.
