And then you see stuff like this photo-essay on Bryce Harper throwing a tantrum after getting struck out. Harper had a great year last year, but overall he has been a 25 HR guy with below replacement defense.

As far as I am concerned, Manny and Trout are the top dogs, but the media still haven't quite figured that out, but at least Manny is in the conversation now.

Manny been in ESPN highlights on a regular basis since he arrived in the bigs.

He also been the top vote getter for 3rd baseball in the AL.

Hard to say the public doesn't know who he is.

As far as I am concerned, Manny and Trout are the top dogs, but the media still haven't quite figured that out, but at least Manny is in the conversation now.

Honestly, for me it's Trout and then everyone else. He's highly likely to go over 9 rWAR for the fourth time in five years. You can have an argument about who is the second-best player in baseball, but there is no real argument about who is at the top.
