Heading into the bottom of the 8th inning, the Rockies led by a score of 5-3.

Aroldis Chapman came in to try to keep the deficit at 2 runs. He didn't. With 2 outs, the Rockies hit a single and a triple to plate an insurance run.

Carlos Estevez closed the Yankees out on 13 pitches in the top of the 9th.

(AUGUST 1st)

 

Now that the Yankees have lost 4 consecutive games to fall to 52-52 overall, and have traded away 4 of their major contributors to their team, I am going to do something that I usually don't do until the final 2 weeks of the season ...... I am going to reluctantly root for them to win games when they play against certain opponents.

Rooting for the Yankees this early in the season ...... albeit reluctantly and begrudgingly ...... is going to feel strange for me.

Thanks, I didn't see that you posted that for me until just now.

Whenever I go to Orioles games, I always park for free in Little Italy and walk down Pratt Street to the stadium. I'll look for it the next time that I'm there.
