The strike zone at the top is not the "letters".

I believe it's between the belt and the letters. Regardless, why are we still having this debate when the technology for automatic ball and strikes calling has already been available for several years? We have been down this road before. You don't do away with the umpire, just place a buzzer in his pocket and let him make whatever call he wants.
