Interesting. Not that Dipoto hasn't made some terrible moves but Scocia is one of the worst managers out there imo.

Yeah, I disagree. It's more than speculation that Moreno was a driving force in both the Pujols and Hamilton deals. He's become the meddling owner Angelos used to be. And his handling of the Hamilton deal was despicable.

I do agree with you on Scioscia, though. He may be the only manager using the 'run on contact' play for runners at 3B. Awful play which constantly costs him runs. The big dispute between him and DiPoto is the GMs insistence for the use of statistical analysis in on the field decisions. Yeah, because we know that's of little value.
