There should be a box for "winning." Because that's what I like, no matter how it's done.

I think we could all agree. On that one.

I like a diversity of strategies and styles all coexisting at once. I like the Bash Brothers facing the Ozzie/Vince Coleman Cards. I want to see Billy Martin abusing his starters in a game against Tony LaRussa attempting to use 13 relievers in a nine-inning game.

Unfortunately life doesn't usually work that way. A small set of strategies succeed in a given environment and those take over.

I'm not at all hyperactive. I like Home Runs. Great pitching. Great Defense.

I don't care about stealing bases, bunting to advance runners and bat flips.

I think the bottom line is WINNING is what most people want to see.

I think I am similar. Unfortunately, we have had little to get geeked about in the pitching department for years. SO I became a power hitting exclusive fanboy.

I actually really liked watching Jim Johnson when he was on. Good late break.
